2. Account Registration

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms.

You are responsible for:

• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Ensuring your account information remains accurate and up-to-date

Lifetime Access

Your purchase includes lifetime access to the following core modules:

• Community Forum

Premium Features (1 Year)

Premium features are included for 1 year from purchase and renewable at €49/year:

• AI Assistant (100 weekly tokens)
• Reading Practice
• Pronunciation Tools
• Timeline Features
• Advanced Tests

License Restrictions

This license is personal and non-transferable. You may not:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the content
• Copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our materials
• Use automated tools to scrape or download content in bulk
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

4. Payments and Billing

One-Time Payment

The base course requires a one-time payment of €149 (or current promotional price) for lifetime access to core modules.

Annual Renewals

Premium features renew annually at €49/year unless canceled before the renewal date. You will receive email reminders 7 days and 1 day before renewal.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post spam, offensive, or inappropriate content in forums or community features
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload viruses, malware, or any malicious code
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect or harvest user data without consent

7. Intellectual Property

All content included in the Service—text, graphics, logos, videos, audio clips, software, and other materials—is the property of Spanish in Your Pocket or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the materials for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.

You may download materials for offline personal study, but you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content without our express written permission.

8. User Generated Content

When you post content to our forums or community features, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content in connection with operating the Service.

You retain ownership of your content but represent that you have the right to post it and that it doesn't infringe on the rights of others.

9. Disclaimers and Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected
• Learning Spanish will be guaranteed (results depend on individual effort and practice)

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spanish in Your Pocket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• We suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• We're required to do so by law

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by email or through a notice on our website.

Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Spain.
